The microscopy facility of IISER Pune offers a large spectrum of imaging solutions, ranging from nanoscale cellular dynamics to deep tissue imaging – along with microscopy training and image analysis services to the scientific community.

Some areas of biological research supported by the microscopy facility include (but are not limited to) cellular morphology and organelle distribution, DNA damage and epithelial polarity, nuclear architecture-chromosome distribution, neural dynamics-embryogenesis and tissue patterning. The facility managers train prospective users within and outside the institute to embark on using microscopy methods independently.
