At the LNMA-UNAM we provide light microscopy services at all scales from nanometers (superresolution imaging) to centimeters (whole organism imaging) to hundreds of national and international users. We offer a diverse range of widefield, fluorescence and bioluminescence microscopy techniques. Principal equipment: epifluorescence, confocal, spining-disk confocal, TIRF, imaging flow cytometer and whole organism imager. We maintain active research programs in superresolution microscopy (fluorescence flutuation, and single-molecule detection), fluorescence spectroscopy techniques (FCS, RICS, STICS etc), single molecule tracking among others, through in-house graduate student and postdoctoral research projects. Image analysis services are also offered, where we also maintain active research programs. We also frequently participate and organise training workshops and outreach activities.
