Imaging Facility Guidelines

The Imaging Facility Guidelines for Acknowledgement, developed by the Royal Microscopical Society and BioImaging UK, promote proper recognition of imaging facility staff in scientific publications. Global BioImaging is proud to support this initiative and has helped gather translations in 11 languages through its international community. We also provide a practical “How to Use the Guidelines” manual, and encourage facilities worldwide to display and adopt the guidelines.

A huge thank you to all the dedicated volunteers who contributed translations—your efforts are helping this initiative reach and empower communities around the world.

We currently have two versions of the guidelines: One version with logos of all GBI-associated communities, infrastructures and networks that are, like GBI, fully supporting this initiative.

The other version has enough space below the guidelines for your institution's logo: Feel free to add your logo according to the instructions in the "How To Use the Guidelines" document and reach out should you have any questions!

If you'd like any of the following translations, reach out to [email protected]: Spanish, French, Portuguese, Catalan, Greek, Arabic, Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese.

If you'd like your version with your institutional logo uploaded on our website, or if you have a new translation to add to our growing pool, please let us know!
