Bangalore Microscopy Course 2021
Dates: 25 January - 19 July 2021
Overview
Bangalore Microscopy Lectures 2021 will be delivered in the format of online lecture series and will focus on state-of-the-art light microscopy technologies ranging from laser scanning confocal microscopy to super-resolution microscopy to light sheet microscopy. In addition, topics such as image analysis and Open Microscopy Environment will be covered.
Originally, the Twelfth Bangalore Microscopy Course was scheduled to be held online from November 16-24, 2020 but since then has been transformed into a Bangalore Microscopy Lecture Series 2021. This Bangalore Microscopy Lecture series, conducted in collaboration with Global BioImaging, has combined didactic and research lectures on a variety of light microscopy techniques and is to be taught by outstanding international leaders in microscopy. The series is designed for graduate students (PhD students) and post-doctoral fellows as well as imaging core facility staff and imaging scientists who would like to understand state-of-the-art light microscopy techniques.
Target audience: This course is open to everyone including PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, imaging scientists, and staff of imaging infrastructures and imaging core facilities (light microscopy, electron microscopy, & biomedical imaging).
