Facility overview

The Core Facility for Integrated Microscopy (CFIM) was inaugurated in 2010 with the mission of implementing state-of-the-art bioimaging technologies to support excellence within life sciences. CFIM has since become a recognized microscopy core facility that gathers state-of-the-art electron and light microscopes under the same roof. Currently giving more than 500 life scientists access to a broad range of microscopy applications, CFIM supports them with the expertise needed to pick the right imaging technology(ies) to answer specific research question(s). CFIM gives support along all steps, from sample preparation and experimental design advise/services, through individual training on the microscopes, and image data extraction. CFIM has a fully dedicated bioimage analysts that supports training to use open-source and commercial software packages on six bookable HCP workstations.
