On 8-9 September 2021, Global BioImaging hosted its annual event, Exchange of Experience VI Workshop.

This year's event featured a keynote presentation from Ricardo Henriquez (Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, Portugal) on Open technologies for Super-Resolution and Machine Learning in BioImaging.

Representatives from Global BioImaging partners and imaging infrastructures, networks, and communities around the globe were featured during the event with excellent presentations from Latin America BioImaging, African BioImaging Consortium, Chile, Republic of Korea, and many more. Exchange of Experience VI attracted the interest of more than 170 registered participants from over 30 countries. Participants came from research infrastructures, industries, and foundations and actively joined the discussions on the topic of imaging infrastructures in a time of change. Global BioImaging's international representation is growing every year and for the first time participants from Armenia, Cameroon and Tanzania joined our annual workshop along with Global BioImaging partners Latin America Bioimaging, Australia, Canada, Europe, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, South Africa and the United States of America.
