Open Access to Imaging around the Globe

Enabling Breakthroughs Through Accessible Imaging Solutions

Global BioImaging is celebrating 10 years of connecting the global imaging community. This year’s Annual Meeting will bring together imaging scientists, core facility managers, technology developers, policymakers, funders, and industry partners from 15 partner networks spanning more than 70 countries to explore how open access can accelerate discovery, strengthen research infrastructures, and expand equitable access to imaging worldwide.

Through panellist sessions, interactive discussions, workshops, and regional networking sessions, participants will examine the evolving landscape of open access in imaging—from shared infrastructures and technology platforms to data, artificial intelligence, and sustainable funding models. The programme will showcase innovative practices from across the globe, highlight the impact of imaging networks in enabling cutting-edge science, and foster dialogue on the partnerships and policies needed to ensure that advanced imaging technologies are accessible to researchers and communities everywhere.
