The Node has a strong theoretical background in sequence development especially with regard to diffusion Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The Node has 11.7 and 14.1 T wide bore MRI (i.e. 89 mm). Current projects include studies of nanoparticle contrast agents in mouse brains and other organs to DTI studies of grapes to q-space imaging and characterisation of porous media. The Node also has micro-CT and a Fast Field Cycling NMR (FFC NMR) capability.
